Climate Smart Farming Solutions (CSFS) is a Zambian-based NGO dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa with improved resilience, food security, and livelihood.

Our mission is to promote climate smart agriculture through research, extension services, and market linkages. 

Our Drive:

Our drive is to ensure smallholder farmers have increased income through diversified crop production, grow safer and higher quality produce through the use of sustainable conservation farming – Climate Smart Agriculture practices and also ensure farmers are not exploited through crop market value chains

What is Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA)?

Climate-smart agriculture (CSA) aim to sustainably increase productivity and build resilience while adapting to climate change and reducing emissions. CSA practices are tailored to specific local conditions, but generally involve techniques to protect moisture and improve soil health. This includes practices such as reduced tillage, diversified crop rotation, agroforestry, biochar and improved soil cover.
